Negotiation and Resolution of Your IRS Tax Problem

Now it is time to put your plan into action! Community Tax Relief will submit and negotiate the approval of your resolution plan with the IRS and State Taxing Authorities

Negotiation with the IRS

In phase 3, your tax attorney will submit the proposal and begin negotiation of your resolution plan with the appropriate IRS representative. Our negotiation maximizes your personal and business expenses allowed under the IRS collections standards and takes advantage of the rules and procedures in the Internal Revenue Manual that every IRS representative MUST abide by.

Approval of Resolution Plan

You will receive an official approval letter from the IRS granting your resolution plan within 14 to 30 days after the final negotiation. Once you have received IRS acceptance of your proposed resolution plan, your attorney will contact you to discuss future compliance and maintenance to ensure you have resolved your tax problem once and for all.

Withdrawal of Power of Attorney

Within 30 days of your conference call with your tax attorney regarding the acceptance of your resolution plan, Community Tax Relief will move your file to an inactive status and withdraw power of attorney. However, please feel free to contact Community Tax Relief with any questions, concerns, or changes that you think may affect your final resolution plan.
